Hello, I’m John Reistrup representing the many talented and experienced professionals at Billing Services Group, who for over 20 years have been helping telecommunications companies, merchants, and online stores grow their businesses utilizing our suite of innovative payment solutions and services.   I’m jumping into to the world of blogging because frankly, we’ve got a lot to say.  During my many years of marketing in the e-commerce and payments arena, including PayPal, BillMeLater and US Airways, I’ve seen the way we research, socialize, learn, communicate and entertain ourselves (and pay for it) undergo dramatic change. As consumer behavior, merchant services and technology has evolved, I’ve had the opportunity to work on many initiatives, figure out what works and what doesn’t.   New products and new technology are offering businesses more options and opportunities than ever; they are also creating new challenges that didn’t exist before.

BSG has been around this industry a long time and our experts have amassed a lot of knowledge about a lot of things.  We want to help you navigate some of the challenges and offer information and advice to help drive or support your business, or in the case of our non-profit partners, their worthy causes.  Our blogs will cover the gamut, digging into key trends and issues, and sharing our perspective on impact they’re having on merchants.
